What is the best way to lay in a Brazilian style hammock?
The traditional way to lay in a hammock is diagonally. This allows you to rest in a straight, comfortable position.

Can you leave Green Mountain Hammocks outside?
Our hammocks can be left outside all summer long but its best to bring them in when not in use for a long time. We recommend that you wash your hammock once or twice a summer and store inside for the winter. Washing keeps your hammock looking new!

Will I fall out of my hammock?
It is very hard to fall out of the Brazilian style hammocks. The misconception that hammocks are easy to fall out of comes from the spreader bar hammocks which can tip over very easily.

Do I need trees for these hammocks?
Green Mountain Hammocks can be hung from trees, fences, hammock stands, walls, patio railings, boats, etc. Our hammocks have loops on the end and can be easily hung from any secure area. Your imagination is the only limit!

If space is an issue, the Boca or Air chairs can be hung from a secure spot anywhere and give you the hammock comfort you desire.
